St. Joseph Parish will be going to the Steubenville Youth Conference Friday, July 18th through Sunday, July 20th. The event is open to students going into 9th grade through those graduating from 12th grade (i.e., current 8th through 12th graders).  We hope to take a bus, but that will be contingent on the number of students participating. Departure time will be early morning on Friday and return time will be later evening on Sunday.

Please register as soon as possible even if you cannot make a payment today as we need to confirm a plan for transportation. Additionally, we are only assured 30 spots for students/chaperones. If we need to exceed that number, the parish needs to know as soon as possible. 

Teens are encouraged to invite friends.

Cost
Two options are available for funding the Steubenville trip. Please read each option below carefully.

Option 1
Families pay $100/student up to a max of $200 (i.e., if a family has 3 high-school-aged children, they would pay a maximum of $200). Additionally, each family must submit 15–20 names and addresses of family members and friends who might be willing to support the trip financially. Students will send out letters and all contributions will come back to the parish to be pooled in support of everyone's participation in the event. Students will be responsible for writing thank you notes for all contributions received from their list and that information will be provided as donations come in.

Option 2
Families pay the entire actual cost of $550/student without submitting fundraising letters.

In the event that we get too few registrations to take a bus, the total cost may be adjusted for Option 2. If families need financial assistance, please contact Fr. Brad. We do not want a lack of funding to be an issue.
