St. Joseph's Parish is an amazing place for your children to learn about Jesus and how to be deeply involved in their faith on their grade level.
We offer weekly classes every Sunday at 11:15 AM, starting September 22, 2024. Classes are held in the Faith Formation Center and end each week at 12:15 PM.
We encourage our parents to come inside the building when dropping off and picking up their children. Our program consists of classroom time, and other fun events during the year, i.e. skits, devotions, music and other fun things.
For those families whose children need to make their sacraments, i.e. First Reconciliation and First Communion, they have to be 7 years of age and been baptized. These sacraments are usually first conferred in second grade. If your child is older, please let us know and we will figure out a special path of preparation to receive those sacraments.
Faith Formation is the most important thing that we do for our children and adults. As parents, we need your help and support, and if you would like to be a part of our program as a catechist, helper, snack supplier, etc., please know that everyone is welcome and encouraged to be involved. You may be surprised at what you will learn or what you may have forgotten. This is a wonderful time for you to be a part of what your children will be learning. God bless all of you for giving us the blessing and opportunity to be a part of your children's faith journey. Keep us in your prayers.
Our Lord said "Let the children come to... Lk 18:16.
And so we begin...
